All vehicle rentals in Exeter are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement provided at the time of booking confirmation or upon vehicle pickup. In the event of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will take priority.

4. Car Collection and Drop-off

A vehicle condition report will be prepared and signed to document its state. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, allowing for standard wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated and charged appropriately. Ensure the vehicle is returned with the same fuel level as at collection; refueling charges will apply if the fuel level is lower. Late returns may incur extra fees, so please contact us immediately if you foresee a delay. You will be responsible for any parking fines, traffic violations, or charges incurred during your rental period, along with an administration fee.
Insurance and Liability Terms

- Prohibited activities include any illegal use of the vehicle, such as racing or off-roading. Transporting hazardous materials or engaging in dangerous activities is not allowed. The vehicle must not be sub-let or driven by unauthorized individuals. Driving under the influence of substances is strictly forbidden. Adhere to passenger and weight limits, and remain within the designated geographical areas without proper consent.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and fees.
8. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Exeter will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is limited to the amount you paid for the rental in the past 12 months. This limitation does not affect liabilities for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent actions.
9. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

These Terms may be updated at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
